It Starts with Finding the Right Weekly Arrangement

When you first contact Norfolk Maids, the aim is not simply to fill a cleaning appointment.

We look at the practical details that will help create a regular arrangement that works from week to week.

That includes where you live, the days that suit you, the amount of regular help you require and whether there are pets in the home.

Housekeepers are interviewed and reference checked before joining Norfolk Maids.

Once a suitable match is made, you have your own regular weekly housekeeper rather than somebody different arriving each time.

You can read more about Norfolk Maids and the way our service works on our About page.

What Happens Once Your Housekeeper Knows Your Home?

This is where a regular service becomes particularly useful.

During the first visits, your housekeeper becomes familiar with your home, your equipment and the areas you consider most important.

Before long, there is less to explain.

They know where you keep the vacuum cleaner and cleaning products. They understand whether you prefer more time spent on kitchens and bathrooms, whether floors need particular attention and whether ironing normally forms part of the visit.

The routine becomes familiar to both you and your housekeeper.

Weekly Home Cleaning in Lingwood That Reflects Your Priorities

The available time can be used for suitable domestic cleaning tasks according to the needs of your household.

These may include:

• Cleaning kitchens
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Dusting and polishing
• Vacuuming carpets and rugs
• Mopping suitable hard floors
• Ironing, when requested
• Agreed rotational household tasks where appropriate

There is no requirement for every home to follow an identical checklist.

The important thing is that the agreed weekly time is being used on the jobs that are genuinely helpful to you.

Our FAQs page has more information about regular housekeepers and how the service works.

Why Do Customers Provide Their Own Products?

Norfolk Maids housekeepers use the customer’s own preferred cleaning products and equipment.

That keeps you in control of what is used in your home.

You may already have particular products that work well on your flooring and furniture, or products you prefer because of pets or household sensitivities.

Your regular housekeeper also becomes accustomed to using your own vacuum cleaner, mop and other suitable equipment each week.

Cleaning and Ironing Are Part of the Same Weekly Service

If ironing is one of the household jobs you would particularly like help with, it can be included within the agreed visit.

You might choose to have ironing completed every week, occasionally when required, or prefer all of the available time to be spent on cleaning.

Norfolk Maids provides regular weekly domestic cleaning and ironing for £16.50 per hour.

Our service is intended for ongoing weekly housekeeping. We do not provide one-off cleans, deep cleans or end-of-tenancy cleaning.

Familiar Help from Week to Week

Norfolk Maids was established in 2013, and giving customers continuity remains an important part of our service.

Having the same regular housekeeper means the arrangement can become increasingly straightforward as they get to know your household.

If your circumstances change, you can contact us to discuss changing your housekeeper.

When your regular housekeeper needs holiday or other time away, Norfolk Maids offers relief cover where possible, although this cannot always be guaranteed.
