Which Household Jobs Would You Happily Hand Over?

Everyone has them.

Perhaps you do not mind vacuuming but would happily never clean the bathroom again. Maybe dusting is always pushed to another day, or the ironing basket seems to refill as quickly as you empty it.

Regular housekeeping does not have to mean somebody taking over everything. It can simply mean having reliable help with the jobs that take up more of your time than you would like.

Your agreed weekly hours can be used where they are most useful in your particular home.

Weekly Cleaning in West Earlham That Becomes Familiar

Norfolk Maids customers have their own regular weekly housekeeper.

That means the person visiting each week has time to learn how your home works.

They become familiar with the rooms you normally prioritise, where your equipment is kept and which suitable tasks you prefer completed regularly.

Instead of explaining the same things repeatedly, a comfortable weekly routine can develop naturally.

Housekeepers are interviewed and reference checked before joining Norfolk Maids. Pets are also considered when arranging a suitable match.

Cleaning Time Used Where You Need It Most

Suitable weekly household jobs can include:

• Cleaning kitchens
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Dusting and polishing
• Vacuuming carpets and rugs
• Mopping suitable hard floors
• Ironing, when requested
• Agreed rotational household tasks where appropriate

Some weeks may follow much the same routine. At other times, a suitable less-frequent job may take priority if the regular cleaning allows.

The important thing is that your housekeeper gets to understand what makes the greatest difference to your home.

Our FAQs page explains more about the regular weekly service.

Why Do You Provide the Cleaning Products?

Norfolk Maids customers provide their own preferred cleaning products and equipment.

This allows you to choose exactly what is used in your home rather than having unfamiliar products brought in.

Your housekeeper works with your own vacuum cleaner, mop and preferred household products and becomes accustomed to using them as part of the regular routine.

It is particularly useful if you have pets, favourite products or surfaces that need particular care.

And What About the Ironing?

Ironing can be included within your weekly visit.

You may want a small amount tackled every week, or perhaps it is something you only need included occasionally when there is time.

There is no separate ironing rate. Norfolk Maids provides regular weekly domestic cleaning and ironing for £16.50 per hour.

Our service is for customers looking for ongoing weekly housekeeping. We do not provide one-off cleans, deep cleans or end-of-tenancy cleaning.
